Jim Van Rhee

Dr. James Van Rhee has 25 years of clinical experience as a hospitalist, including over 12 years in internal medicine and 8 years in hematology/oncology. He earned his PA degree from the University of Iowa, his MS from Rosalind Franklin University, and his DMSc from Southern Illinois University. Dr. Van Rhee is the author of Physician Assistant Board Review (Elsevier) and the creator and lead instructor of Kaplan’s online PANCE™/PANRE™ Board Review course. He lectures nationally, regionally, and locally on hematology, infectious disease, and innovations in physician assistant education, including online learning and problem-based instructional design.
