Disclaimer: Clinical Confidence and Competence: These are the findings of a qualitative study published in Clinical Confidence & Competence Using i-Human Patients Virtual Simulations conducted by Kaplan between January 2023 and December 2024 for graduate nursing, physician assistant, and medical students, and between November 2024 and March 2025 for undergraduate students. For this study, a sample of 499 clinical confidence statement responses and 515 clinical competence statement responses were reported. Of those surveyed, 86.9% respondents reported that the virtual simulation case contributed to their clinical confidence, and 86.3% reported it contributed to their clinical competence.
