**Predictive Score: Kaplan examined the relationship between its COMLEX Level 1 (L1) simulated exam scores and the official COMLEX L1 exam scores. Data were collected from the six participating institutions (N = 399). Students took Kaplan’s COMLEX L1 simulated exam in May and June 2023 and then took the official COMLEX L1 licensure exam between May and October 2023, after their simulated exam. Of these, 366 (91.7%) passed the exam and 33 (8.3%) failed. Kaplan makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, concerning the predictability of passing an official licensure examination.

***Score Increase: Kaplan examined the relationship between its COMLEX Level 1 (L1) simulated exam scores and the official COMLEX L1 exam scores of a U.S. osteopathic institution. Cohort 1 data were collected from students who did not use Kaplan’s products to prepare for the COMLEX L1 licensure exam but used traditional school-provided materials as well as other test preparation options; 78% of Cohort 1 students passed the official licensure exam. Cohort 2 data were collected from the same institution after its students used a combination of these and Kaplan’s products to prep for the COMLEX L1 licensure exam (N=116); 110 (94.9%) passed the exam and 6 (4.5%) failed.
